What did you do detailing wise today?

Washed my DD yesterday via a pressure wash; followed by Pinnacle waterless in a 2 gallon weed chemical sprayer (my new favorite way to use waterless wash).

How much do you usually mix at once in the 2 gallon sprayer? Fill it up? I imagine each use with the sprayer doesn`t use much product.

Just make a gallon at a time and keep it in there. It`s actually a 1 gallon sprayer. Best $15 you can spend.

nice placement of the SRT badge

do you use any RW or QD`s on the UBER? if so which ones do you find work best

I love your SRT Jeep

Thanks. I`m still debating whether to remove the Jeep emblem or not.

I haven`t tried any RW yet but I did try Meg`s D114 as a QD / drying aid and it worked ok (nothing spectacular). I also use UWW+ daily to wipe off bird bombs at WW ratio. The coating seems to look great after (lots of shine and flake pop).

If the weather turns out ok this afternoon I`ll try a RW with WG Uber (I assume it`s compatible) before I go racing. I`m doing 1/8th mile on race gas tonight I hope to kill a few exotics tonight. I usually cut a 7.8-7.9 without race gas.

The coating is not liking life under the giant tree`s. The organic contaminants seem to adhere to the coating and it takes a fairly aggressive wash to get it back to normal that`s why I resorted to D114 for a final wipe down.

Blackfire WW on the Taurus, and the Fatboy. Also BF AIO tire, BF MS spray wax, and mothers all chrome on the Fatboy.

P.S. I know about dressing bike tires. I do the side walls, making sure none gets on the tread area. The side walls never touch the pavement and I wipe till it`s dry.

I washed the wife`s New to her Jeep Wrangler with foam cannon with 3D Pink (2015 with 3000 miles on it bought 2 weeks ago). Then I used Iron X`d the whole car, then I rewashed the car with HydroFoam in soap cannon. I used Hydrofoam mixed with 3D pink last time and was not impressed, this time was 180 degree difference I was blown away how well it worked and how much it was beading and how slick it felt when drying after. I dont know if it did not like being mixed or if it needs better prep last time was just maintenance wash this time i deconed with IronX?????? don`t know but wow was it easy and worked great. Sorry for no pics I just was to wiped out after 10 hour work day I just wanted to power through it.

From many many many years ago. Someone wanted "Jet ^ Black tires" And dressed the whole tire. Needless to say it didn`t end well.
I kinda figured that`s what it meant.

Yeah sometimes safety and common sense overrides look.

Couple months ago I tried ONRWW didn`t go so well streaks on whole car that I didn`t notice till next day.
Today I tried again with some changes in procedure.
Last time I did half the car at a time
Today 1 panel at a time then drying with 3 WWmicro
plus I used a light spray of Nano Shock as a drying aid wiping & buffing with 2 CG`s Supra drying towels,
I also used 2 buckets 1 with the washboard combo for rinse, 1 with 2oz. product to 2gal. water.
HUGE DIFFERENCE !! Lurkin` & learnin`
Thanks Guys :yay

Through similar experiences, I have been doing only a few panels at a time when doing my rinseless wash. Are you doing your rinseless wash in the sun or under some sort of shade? If it is the former, that may be part of your problem. Nevertheless, I would recommend Wolfgang Uber rinseless wash. This is a real gem - no streaking.

I haven`t ordered anything from them directly in years, but I still love thumbing through their catalog for some reason.

Nothing really.

But I went to Advance Auto and realized they are starting to stock some good chit.

So, we know they have Mothers and Megs. But, they are expanding their Griot`s stuff. They had those PFM towels, a GG6, pads, & BOS wax - among others in the Griot`s line.

They really had a lot of Griot`s stuff.

I also noticed they started carrying Duragloss and some 303.

I picked up another bottle of Dub Wheel Cleaner for $2 off.

They also have something that looks like a Nano Skin wash mitt - I think it was Eagle 1 or something.

Still no rinseless washes though.

And plenty of Liquid Glass in tin cans.

The way to do this is, first use deionized water. You can buy it for $1 a gallon.

Second, work indoors or in the shade. Don`t dry the car as you go along. If your using DI water, you simply need to let the car air dry and go over it with a QD or waterless wash when it`s dry.

It`s the fastest way. The DI water won`t leave streaks and any streaks left by the RW will just wipe off once the vehicle is dry.

Removed all wheels and thoroughly detailed the wheel wells ...then coated all plastic w/ DLUX.

Scrubbed all tires both front & back with meg`s d108 & d143....then coated them with TW endure shine Coat.

Next, detailed engine bay....... all I had as a topper was some 303 aero.

Finally, foamed car with Reset and finished with a D114 rinseless!

Here are the results!
