So far, not bad for a car that hasnt been even washed in 2-3 years ..

Cleaned up this Jeep.
It is a 1998 Wrangler.
Sits outside with the doors and windows removed most of the time.
It is in very bad condition, rust and contaminants everywhere.

My job is to clean it up and polish it.
I will return to polish, but completely decontaminated it and cleaned it up.

The wheels were pretty bad.
The wheels ended up requiring an acid wheel cleaner to remove the brake dust.
Happy with the way everything turned out, but it is not perfect.
It is as good as I can get it without spending an eternity on it.

Engine Bay was bad too.
Cleaned it up and it turned out well.
Not perfect, but I will take it.

I went into the garage only planning to replace my cars cabin filter, but ended up giving it an interior detail.
As you can see, the filter definitely needed replaced.

And for the interior I decided to try Pinnacle Black Label Leather & Vinyl Coating. I received this as a free gift in one of my orders over the winter and figured Id give it a shot.

50/50 before buffing. I didnt take a picture after buffing since it was hard to capture the difference. It may have darkened the panels and leather a little bit but nothing really noticeable.

After the detail.

What year is the Civic?
How do normally take care of it?

I detailed a 2006 Civic recently that looks very similar to the one you pictured.
It only had 26,00 miles.

In my case, the paint was literally washing off onto the towels as if it was a single stage paint.
The owner stated that it had always been washed at AutoBell or gas station car washes.
I wish I had better pictures.
The car looked like the poster child for a car taken care of at AutoBell. lol.

I was drying my car today with the DP Dryer and decided to create a quick shoulder strap. It worked better than I expected so now I will create a better one out of some strapping or something similar.

Got the Florida beach salt, sand, and hard water spots off of my wifes car from our trip to St. George Island. Used the last of my Hydro2lite to seal it. Now I have to order some more. I love me some Hydro2.

With intentions on putting my gear back in order in the garage i ended up wiping down my 1 day old washed truck with Spray and Gloss and scrubbing the rear seats with Optimum Carpet Cleaner and Protectant

Washed it again and went to work. Ended up starting later than I wanted and took a couple breaks (baseball game was on after all.) The constant fight with the bugs and pollen sacs falling out of the tree did not make things go any faster either.

Used D300 followed by D301 with Meguiars Microfiber cutting/finishing discs.

I would post more close-ups but... I could find the camera and taking pictures was a pain. I thought I got a few good ones with the phone, the defects were clear as day to me but you cant see them in the pictures. :(
