What did you do detailing wise today?

Used my new pump sprayer and did a rinseless wash on my Accord. Worked very well. Dressed the ties with opti-bond, interior with PBL leather and vinyl coating, and put on a coat of Colli 467.

Two bucket wash on the WRX today. Used HD wash. I like it however 3D pink seems to have a tad bit more lubricity. Dried and wiped down with Megs UQD. HD dress on tires. Interior got Sonax dashboard cleaner and leather foam. Loving the weather in Pittsburgh today. Too lazy to take pics tho.

Had a little free time today so I put together a light that I have been meaning to make for quite some time. Works better than expected pictures don't do justice. Cost me $50 bucks total!

- Neewer photography studio double e27 socket(Amazon.ca)
- feit electrical 50w equvilant PAR20 5k LED x2(Canadiantire.ca)
- tri pod I already had laying around but you can also get from Amazon.

With the cold weather (below freezing) creeping in there isn't a lot of work on the books. Time to re-vamp the website, clean up the shop, and cruise the forums to catch up whats being going on in the detail world since last winter.

Daughters new 2016 Ford Escape. New and in the plastic. This was a quick detail in cold weather and a detailer with only one good arm. Used IronX, clayed, several washes incuding a final wash with CarPro's HydroFoam. Was quite inpressed with my first use of HydroFoam. If it gives me a couple of months I'll have my arm back and be very happy.

Early ONR wash this morning. Even though it's only 31 outside it's still 43 in the garage. Decided to top my FK1000P with some BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Carnauba Spray Wax. Even at a temp of 43, no problems at all.

I did a rinseless wash with the Uber wash, good stuff. Also did a quick wipe over afterwards with V07 and touched up the tires with opt-bond. Not bad for 35 minutes worth of work. Gotta keep the ride looking sharp when its nice enough out to get outside. May not be able to in January...
