What did you do detailing wise today?

Did my first rinseless wash using ONR. Combination of pre-wash at the pay to spray to get off the heavy stuff, ONR in a garden sprayer for a pre-soak and then microfibres in a bucket of ONR Gary Dean style. Worked well. Didn`t take long. It`s been a dirty winter here without much snow and frequent freeze ups which means lot of sand and salt.

Made the work van look a little better today. One of the other guys wasn`t looking where he was going and cut the corner a little short.

Broke down and bought a bottle of McKee’s 37 N-914 Rinseless Wash yesterday. I`ve been trying my best not to buy any new products until I use up my existing supplies... but with free shipping + 25% off over on AG, ontop of the praise N-914 has been getting I made an exception. Now I just need to intercept the package before my wife does!

Well it was yesterday and Saturday, but I did 3 hours on inside of wife`s jeep Saturday and tried to do a rinseless wash but wow was that dirt just stuck on it wasnt working. Sunday am did the inside on my truck 3 hours taking my time looked good as new love Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant as interior LSP. Then Pulled both cars out and start decon wash on both Did good rinse then sprayed IronX on paint Spray and Rinse on wheels. Soap cannon the whole car after letting ironX dwell for 5-6 minutes. Then wash whole car with Boars hair tri-head brush (only bonus to cold cloudy weather plenty time to work nothing dries out on you)rinse few times to make sure they are good and clean of soaps. LSP was Gyeon WetCoat works well and beads well but when its gone I will stick with Hydro2 seams to spread better and use less product. Really like Hydrofoam but that seems wasteful also but the act of spreading it with wash media seems to get a perfectly even consistent beading action. Hydro2 and wet coat can be bit tougher to get 100% coverage. All in all it was a fun day detailing both cars and playing around in the garage, really enjoying the new Tv/Hifi set up out there.

finally got the text "my yellow jacket T/A is arriving tomorrow...when can you detail it?"

looks like I have a lot of Mopars on the books now! (3 hellcats, 1 426 supercharged charger Daytona, a challenger t/a (supposed to be two but the other owner is a little flaky)
and two ford trucks (as a side note)

gotta make some money to get my garage remodeled for summer (hopefully)
