What combo to remove very minor swirls and light hazing on black with pc

I just bought a pc and DAS pad kit off this site. I also bought the sonus SFX1, 2, and 3 polishes. This weekend I am going to attempt to remove some minor swirls and light haziness and cloudyness and I am wondering where to start.

Should I start with a the blue pad and the SFX1, or maybe use the blue pad and the SFX2?

Or would I be better off using the green pad with the SFX2 to get started?

I know it is best to start with the least agressive and work towards a more agressive compound if necissary. But I don't want to waste my time if the blue pad and SFX1 are not going to do anything.

Any input would be great.
 
I have no experience with the SFX product, but I don't believe the blue pad will be aggressive enough to remove swirls. The go-to pad in the Sonus kit is green. Although, the orange pad works great. You have the right idea though, least aggressive to more aggressive; pad before polish.

slammin86- Not being a Sonus polish/pad user I can't really say how to approach this job, but a lot of it will depend on how hard your paint is. Start mild and see if that does it, if not then get more aggressive.

It is on an 04 GTO. Everyone says that the paint and clear coat are very soft.
 
Gotach, soft-ish paint oughta be correctible by PC, so you should do OK. I'd save the finishing pad for finishing though, and see if a mild polishing pad will do the job.
 
I just recieved my DAS pads today. I like the blue pad alot. It is softer then the white LC pad, but firmer than the black finishing one.



It will work beautifully with SFX3.



Use the green with the SFX 2, and hold off on the SFX 1 for a while, or only for correctable defects that cannot be felt with your fingernail.
