What color is your next new vehicle going to be?

Knowing what you know about detailing now, what color would you choose for your next vehicle?

Presently I have a bright red truck. Next time I'm sticking with a dark color, probably not black, but maybe dark gray or a darker red (maroon).

If I knew what I know now I don't think I will go black again but I don't think it can be beat lookswise when its freshly washed/polished/waxed so I am mixed. Oh well probably won't have to worry about it for awhile.

Well I wont have this to worry about for a long time but I just opted for Dark Shadow Grey about 2 weeks ago I guess thats where my vote goes.

I have owned all black vehicles up till this one and while they good when there cleaned up and freshly waxed and stuff they are so hard to keep that way.

This exact car in this exact color..

Even with my amateurish skills, I love the look of my dark red paint when it's freshly detailed---but I'll probably get white or some other light color if I ever but another new car. Easier to keep looking nice and cooler in the summer.

keray, colour shifting is a really nice effect and eye catching, however do seriousley think about the extra danger of someone being jealous and "accidently" taking a key to your paint or stone chips as resprays are near on impossible to match.

on a lighter note, blue will be my next or silver.

My cars from now on will only be Red or Black. You cant beat those two colors. People say black is hard to keep up but really who cares. :nixweiss

We detail our cars because we enjoy doing it, not because we have to. I just cant see in owning white or silver and spending the whole day detailing it and not getting the same results as I do with black and red. I have had strangers drive by my house starring at my cars. Then they pull up and we start talking. I have met many people just from my detailed cars

My present car is silver grey, really tempted to get a black one, but just so hard to keep looking good.

The wife wants an Indigo Blue Metallic Trailblazer. Therefore, my next car will be Indigo Blue Metalllic...:D

I am with a few other in this thread... BLACK! yes it is hard to keep clean but... you can't beat the look when its clean, if you enjoy detailing them as I do its not a big problem. Just depends on the person.

I don't think I'll be getting a new car soon, but I'd probably go for Silver or dark gray. Those were my first two choices for my 4Runner, but I went shopping just as the 2003's were selling out and ended up with my third choice, Pacific Blue. I'm actually kind of glad I got the Pacific Blue. :)

Funny, I never thought I would own a yellow car, but I dont regret it one bit. It really stands out from the rest and looks great when it is clean. Even when it is dirty it looks pretty good from a far. Silver is the same way though like Scottwax said. I would really like a blue or red 350Z in my garage one day. That and a black BMW X5 :)
