Hi,
I'm trying to remove a door entry scuff plate that is held on by very strong adhesive tape...I want to break the bond, and am thinking of using wd40 because I've always had good results, and because I can use the included red straw to directly spray the WD40 between the scuff plate and door sill which should make it easier to break the initial bond and prevent any product being sprayed into the interior.....However, I then want to install a new scuff plate (which also uses adhesive tape to secure) and I need to have the door sill perfectly clean so that I get a good bond.....What is the best way to remove the residual WD-40, would isopropyl alcohol do the job?
Finally, does 3M adhesive remover have a straw to allow you to put the product where it's needed....Any other suggestions greatly appreciated
Many Thanks
Jason
