What brand of carpet extractor do you have or use?

I was wondering what brands of carpet extractors you guys use. If you had to purchase a new one again, which brand would you get?

I just purchased the Bissell Little Green Machine (LGM) at Walmart. I ended up getting the non-heated verision. Based on some good reviews of it here on Autopia I am waiting for spring to come along so that I can try it out. Or for my dogs to make a mess on the carpets. Whichever comes first. :grinno: :grinno:

Having used a number of consumer-level (no, that's not a slam ) units from Sears, Bissell, and Hoover, a while back I splurged on a Century 400/Ninja from TOL. It cost an arm and a leg but *wow* does it work better than my other ones.



But the little Bissell/Hoover units are great for quick cleanups and the Sears and Bissell models that hook up to a faucet work pretty well for more demanding jobs. These are basically just solution/rinse water delivery systems featuring carpet nozzles that hook up to wet/dry vacs and can thus make the wet/dry vac a double-duty unit.

Ive been using the Mytee HP60 too and love it. Just costs an arm and leg , but will make up for it in the long run. Been using it hard for a year now with no issues.

I got this one: T H O R O - M A T I C . . . . . .* It lasts, day after day, year after year. from Cleanfreak in Wisconsin. At <$400 it had the best push/pull stats for the $$. Danase has the best deal on a heated one.
