Incredibly busy a work for the next 6 months so the little time I have left over is either spending it with my family or sleeping.

As for hobbies, music and HiFi, reading - industrial/organisational history and more broadly, general history including the two world wars. I would love to start a PhD in industrial history but the cost is to high for me at the moment

I absolutly love doing anything that has to do with speakers/radios. I have messed with the stereo so much in my car it isnt funny. I also like to do the "sunday drive thing" with the girl, but we only go about 1hr away. I also like to target practice with the bow thats always fun.

Brandon

You wanna install my system? I got it through a buddy at cost and he never put it in. :( Its not that long of a drive, you can do it on a sunday. ;) lol

I've been a high school foreign language teacher since 1975, though I will retire in 2-4 years. I also coach high school tennis, and therefore, I still play competitively myself. And, I officiate tennis, mostly Division I college tennis, with an occasional 120-MPH serve flying by me in the pro ranks.

I also like to cook, particularly long, slow, bar-b-que type smoking (pulled pork, brisket, etc). But since a bbq fire needs attended to only every so often, I often detail while I 'que!

I've been known to sit on the porch, and enjoy my work, both on the plate, and on the driveway!

Work= Sr LAN Support Specialist. Sounds fancy, basically I supervise up to 2 other guys and maintain about 300 PC's and about 10 servers, budgeting, etc

"free" time= trying to sell my house. managing the build of our new house, finishing IT degree online, detailing (well not in the winter), working on my "toy" vehicles, drag racing, jet skiing, some PS@ and XBox gaming (not much these days)

Riding my bike...Montana and New Mexico this summer.

Flyfishing, Golf (flyrod and clubs are always in my truck, even have a breakdown rod that fits in my saddlebags)

Its so nice to raise kids that can run your business!!!!!!

Interstate and local car club cruises, track days, drags

During summer I go to as many dirt track speedways interstate and locally to watch/report/photograph V8 super sedan racing (similar to late models)

Know heaps of drivers from most states. Great fun indeed

Also enjoy my video movie collection (on all domestic video formats) and help out at my church as much as I can

a) Studying for Certification Exams (MCSE, MCDBA)

Cool...when I move out to the West I'll be getting a long sea kayak like that. For now though, I just have a simple Old Town Otter 9.5' recreational kayak. It's been on Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, and the Wolf River (famous in WI. Longest continuous whitewater in the state) though. It's been great for everything I've used it for. But most of the time it's just lounging around local lakes/streams, catching bass/pike/panfish all morning. Can't beat that!

Ya a nice short kayak is so much fun in river a streams because its so manuverable to go and check out stuff along the sides of the rivers and going under fallen trees and things

Work: own and work in my plumbing business.

Fun: Detailing, golf and heavy workouts (body building, competed years ago but continue the life style.)

Yup. The Lake Superior trip was to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, which is a very popular place to kayak, because there are caves carved into the cliffs, and you can paddle right into them. Very cool trip indeed.

Work: Aerospace Propulsion Systems Journeyman - fancy term for jet engine mechanic.
