What are your thoughts about Meguiar's Products?

Megs is mostly an OTC brand with OK products but other manufacturers make a higher quality line.

I'm not sure that statement is very accruate. The VAAAAST majority of Meguiar's products aren't even OTC.



The Mirror Glaze line, the Detailer line, and the So1o line are close to impossible to find in most stores...and if they do carry it, they carry a very limited portion. These lines have some seriously amazing products.



Meguiar's has such an enormous range of products it is almost too much to wrap your brain around. In fact, I can' think of another brand that even comes close to having such a wide range of products and tools that simultaneously produces products considered by many to be the best there is in their respective category.

Consistently very good products that a lot of posting detailers love to bash.

I didn't vote though because my answer is not in the choices.

When you say "strictly" do you mean even as far as pads, polishers, MF towels etc....



I would say Meg's is about 95% of my arsenal, but I also use LC 4" pads, Collinite 476s & 845, Euroshag MF, Mother's Showtime Instant Detailer, ONR and Powerball Mini (for my exhaust - totally stolen from weekend warriror). I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't use something outside the Meg's line. I suppose it is possible as long as you don't need a rotary.

Check out Joe's work from Superior Shine. Most of his details are #83, #80, NXT. The results he gets are astounding. That being said........it's all in the prep!
