I agree. I prefer Ultima and Werkstat over their sealants and Optimum and Menzerna over their polishes (except 105) but in the areas that don't get discussed as much as sealants, waxes, and polishes, such as dressings, degreasers, APC and other cleaners are really pretty good products and are much cheaper than other brands similar products.

M105 and their mag and aluminum polish are hard to beat! The rest of their stuff? Meh...

Agreed, 105 is wonderful.



I also love much of there detailer line, such as, APC+, Super De greaser, Last Touch, Hyperdressing, Wheel Brightener. I buy all of these by the gallon.



Also, there mild clay bar is about the only clay I use.



Accent coating, and trim detailer often see use in my details.



But in most cases, I prefer other LSP's and polish/compound products.



And for some reason I hate there pads.

They make several nice products, but can't say I would use one brand over another. My choice would be more product specific.

I like them, if I could ONLY pick one line - it would be Megs. But I do use other products from time to time. It depends on the type of detailing you're doing.

Megs is mostly an OTC brand with OK products but other manufacturers make a higher quality line.

They're not too far off from other companies; some products REALLY stand out; others perform just as advertised and the rest may be a little lackluster or downright poor performers.



Overall the Detailer Line is what I like best.

Meguiars products are the core of my detailing kit, I find that they produce similar results to high end products without breaking the bank. The following are my favourites:

Last Touch is a nice clay lube, cheap (dilutes 1:1).



Hyper Dressing is my go to product for wheel wells for the last 2+ years, I dilute it at 3:1.



Wheel Brightener is a must for really bad rims. Use it with caution.



Their mild blue clay is nice too, I used to not like it but I get good results with it these days.



There are plenty of others that I use, but those are my most used products from them.

They make very good detailer line products (Hyperdressing, APC, APC+, Degreaser, Window Cleaner, Last Touch, etc...)



They make some very good pro products (M105, M95, M83, M80, M07, M34, M39, M40, M26)



And they make some nice OTC products as well (Natural Shine, UQD, Wheel Cleaner, NXT All Metal Polysh)



However I am not a big fan of their LSP's in general, esp the OTC stuff (Gold Class, NXT 2.0, etc). However M26 Hi-Tech wax is probably the best bang for the buck wax ever...



I didn't vote in your poll because there is no way to. They are a large company with a large market so they have a lot of overlapping products, some that I like, some that I love, some that I think stink...

I should also add that their LSPs (minus DC3, Gold Class) look really nice, they just don't have any durablity in the swamp that is Florida.

I use their tire dressings and their mag & aluminum polish which i love. I'll admit, before i discovered Autopia not too long ago I was all about Meguiars. Now I have a plethora of products from everywhere. This place has truly broadened my horizon!:xyxthumbs
