What are your favorite el cheapo products?

160 0z. of Megs Gold wash from Costco for $7 something. Can't beat that. Pretty good stuff in a foam gun, and awesome for under $8.

Most of the previous posts have described over the counter detailing products. I guess I am cheaper than most. Here are a few really cheapo items I use that aren't in the auto care department.

Dollar General Carpet Cleaner (works well on carpet and cloth interiors - spray lightly & use a brush and blot dry) $1.50 @ Dollar General Store

Awesome - (very good degreaser and is concentrated - usually use it on tires diluted 1 part Awesome 2 parts water - also works in the engine compartment, but be careful, not sure I would trust it on aluminum for very long) $1.00 @ Dollar Tree

Scotchguard for carpet (works well on carpets and seats - apply sparingly on seats and wipe surface) This was in a big gallon spray contraption. I put it in a smaller spray bottle for better contol of spray area. Got it at Big Lots some time ago for $5.99 (I think)

Meg's brushes @ Big Lots

TWPUG @ Big Lots

Around here Target sells the gallon for $9.99.

But Costco sells a 1.25 gallon jug for $8.69. :)

PC.

Ahh the Costco deal. I've got about 10 of these jugs in the utility room and plan to go back and get about 10 more ......just to "stock up"
