What are you currently watching thread

Only shows I`ll go out of my way to catch on TV IF i`m watching any TV:

Shark Tank
The Profit
Million Dollar Buyer

Netflix:

Finished Gotham,Flash and Scream, stopped halfway through Penny Dreadful SSN2 and haven`t continued.

Currently watch

*My Name is Earl on occassion
*X-Files (little by little)
*Portlandia
*Black Mirror- is currently hands down one of the best shows I`ve ever seen . No dragging plots that last numerous seasons, every episode is a different story and the satirical modern society message hidden in every episode is just eye opening .

Amazon Prime:

The Grand Tour - latest episode I watched (4 i think with the brick/dirt made cars) was just boring , enjoyed the other ones more than not.

Best thing on TV

Oh, I forgot Counting Cars until Netflix got rid of it!! They actually had some nice scenes with painting and buffing.

Autogeek`s cheesy Competition Ready should be on Netflix.

Introduced the kiddos to The Wonder Years tonight. Such a great show. Brings back good memories of watching it with my family growing up. Seems like there is just not that many shows these days that a whole family can enjoy

I spend time watching older film noir movies on youtube.

Huge noir fan as well - and general fan of films from the 30s & 40s; especially Hitchcock.

Problem is, I think I`ve seen them all.

I think out of the hundreds of channels on Comcast I only watch 2 -TCM & Investigation Discovery.

FOX Movie Channel has been showing a lot of older movies these days (FXM Retro) and most are on demand too.

Heh heh, I couldn`t begin to count how many times I`ve (re)watched some of those old films, and I don`t mean just a dozen times or two.

For anyone with Amazon Prime...

I strongly suggest Man in the High Castle
It`s a series based on the book by Philip Dick.

The story is about an alternate America had the Axis powers won WWII. So half the USA is the "Greater Third Reich" and the other half is the "Pacific States of Japan".
If the first episode doesn`t hook you then you should probably get your pulse checked. (The show is certainly not for everyone).

Started watching Plane Resurrection on Netflix tonight. Very interesting show. They are following restorations of old WWII warbirds. First episode was a P51 Mustang which is by far my favorite plane from that era. It`s amazing to see what these people are able to do starting with a pile of junk

For you guys that have Netflix. The Killing is awesome. Very well done. The Wire on HBO was really good too.

Of course nothing will ever beat the top two shows in TV history : Breaking Bad and The Sopranos.
