What are these called and where can I get them?

I see these all the time at car shows underneath people's wheels, and I would like to get some. I have no idea what they are called (tried searching "wheel/tire/rim display" on ebay with no luck) and where I could get them. I either want plain or Toyo ones. Anybody have an idea?

Why would you want a plain one, to custom inscribe?

I was thinking I could put my club's logo on a plain one. Other than that, I have Toyo tires.

Heh, I just search ebay for "tire stand" and it didn't bring up anything, and yet someone else found one! Too bad I don't have a BFG tire... heh.

I found that Benchmarc link as well, but I dunno if they sell to the average buyer... seems like they are a supplier to stores and the such. I emailed them to see, though.

Heh, I don't know where a tire shop in my town is... I have awhile anyway before I need some, but last night I just thought of the idea of trying to find them. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be!

I'd never seen that before either, but I guess it's just a tire stand like they have at wheel shops to prop tires on for displays. Honestly, I don't see any sort of aesthetic value in them by rolling your car over them if not just to display sponsor names or something, but I've never seen them in real life so I can't speak too much from experience.

Can someone explain what on the tire in the photo? Ive never seen that before.

There is a certain tire shine product (don't remember which one) that contains glitter and color. It looks like that is what he used to dress his tire for the show. Of course I think it looks horrible but then again I've seen far worse things at car shows... haha.

Black Magic tire tint, applied heavily it will look that--just like azz. :D

I was guessing he just threw some glitter on wet tire shine... since there's glitter around the rest of the car.

So anywho, I contacted Benchmarc, and they do sell these to the average buyer, and for pretty damn cheap so I am getting myself some, and like 20 more for members of a forum I am an admin on. I plan on adding my club's/forum's logo to them to advertise at car shows. Plus judges like crap like that for some odd reason. If anybody wants more info on these tire stands, just PM me.

The mystery is solved, yay!
