What are the results with the polishing pal?

What do the people that have used it think? Does it make putting on a LSP easier/faster?

Also has anyone used it with a clay bar? Is it easier to hang on to the clay?

Good, it the sense that it offers different levels of aggressive pads and gives you a little stubby handle to grab onto.

The light cutting pads works a lot better at removing swirls by hand than a regular foam applicator.

The handle on mine (still unused) is soft so as to allow a good grip unlike, say, a wooden or plastic grip.

I bought one several weeks ago and love it. I will never wax again without one. The pad choices are similar to what is available for a PC. I used the orange pad that came with the Wolfgang Polishin Pal and Poorboys Pro Polish and the results were very good. It saves your fingers from the cramping that
you get using a applicator. I used the grey finishing pads to apply my Poorboys Ex and then Nattys Blue. I have not bought a PC yet and will be very soon. You really need one to correct swirls and polish. I will not however use the PC for the LSP as I have read that Steve (PB's) suggest the LSP be done by hand as the PC might remove some of the LSP layer from previous
sealant or wax. That is just an opinion and we all have our own. But you can't go wrong using one of the Polishing Pals. They are just a good tool for detailing.

Thankfully I have a PC, but was looking to use this mainly with my LSP or maybe for places that the PC can't get to very easily while polishing.

Did you get the pinnacle one? What did it come with?

my only question is how herd is it to get product onto the pad? It seems you would have to take the wax out of the jar and I dont like that task.but I like the idea very much.

Glen I just took the Nattys jar and turn it upside down and the wax disk
came out of the jar in my hand and then I could just rub the applicator
on the disk to load it up. I held the wax disk in my hand thru the application
process and just put it back in the jar when finished. No problemo!

Looks like I'll probably be picking one up. I'm not sure if I'm the biggest fan of holding the wax in my hand though. Maybe I can find another container to put it in.

No ones used it with the clay?

I did actually have a MF towel in my hand to keep the heat from my hand
from melting the Natty's wax disc. If you use a wax that is in a larger diameter container then you will not have to do this. The pad is 4" in
diameter.

im intrested but it seem it might now be good in tight area but im sure it would relieve my ache hand also i dont know about the cutting pads i doubt you can remove swirls unless it very very light....pinncelwax has free ship but which is good but they dont offer all the pads like danase...decision decision

Pinnacle doe's have all pad choices. I have the Autogeek link below. The Pinnacle Polishin Pal at the Autogeek link shows all the pad choices. You may have to call them as I did not see the pads on the Pinnacle link I provided in the above link. I am sure if you call them, they will add them to the order and not charge shipping. Autogeek is also the same store as Wolfgang
and Pinnacle. Look at the Autogeek link below to see what pads you want and call them. http://www.autogeek.net/pinpp.html

I agree. It's a pain for me to clay and apply paste wax. My hands get all cramped up and just plain old hurts. So maybe this would relieve that.

My hand gets the same way. Sometimes my fingers just lock up if I'm pressing hard in an awkward position and I have to bend them with my other hand.

I don't even see where the other pads for the pinnacle polishing pal are and how much they cost though.

I might just make this with some wood. Cut a tennis ball to put on the top or maybe take the inside of one of those balls that you squeeze for your hand and glue that on top of the wood. Throw some Velcro on the bottom and on a foam applicator instead of buying one of these things. Damn I'm cheap...
