What are benefits of opti coat?

Can someone point me to a link detailing the benefits of having Opti Coat done?
I have an 07 Tacoma that is now paid off, and I am considering finding a pro to make it look like new and would like to protect the paint from water damage. Would Opti Coat be worth doing? The water in my area is especially hard and I got sprayed in the parking lot at work recently and have lots of water spots that aren't coming off with the usual amateur methods I use.

They have a '13 Tacoma just like mine on the Toyota lot right now that I am soooo tempted to get just so it will be all new and I won't have to see the various damage that mine has endured over 5 years.

Nice setup you have and I've always liked the Tacoma's in white, they're just a great looking truck.

Unlike sealants and wax, Optimum Opti-Coat is a permanent coating applied to the paint. It's an actual hard layer of protection that bonds to the finish and protects it like the clear coat applied at the factory.

It's easy and straight forward to apply. I'd recommend a full polish detail prior to its application and surface prep is 80% of the final results. What ever the surface looks like before the coatings application is what you'll see so make it look its best before applying Optimum Opti-Coat...:bigups

I have a 96 Camry paint for it's year is in excellent condition..( go figure) Any reason I would want to apply this coating to the car? The car is a DD but a garage queen that gets regular polishing and protection applied. What I would be looking at is more depth in shine not additional protection...thanks
