What applicator for tire dressings?

Those wipes with the cover are the ones I saw at another website. They looked pretty handy to me but now I know some of you guys have used them so I'll try them out. We have Auto Zone here too, so I'll try them first. Thanks for helping me out! :dcrules

I found that the handle unglues itself from the sponge real quick
Using red square foam pads half the size of my palm. They are super soft and look like a smaller version of a 3M perfect it waffle polishing pad

Don't mind some wolfgang or sonus on my hands, smells lovely and washes off easy as
Always do that part last.

Picked my foam swipe up at Pep Boys for $2.49. Nice thick plastic handle, flexible foam. Works for what I need it to do.

Plus my car care product cupboard smells great after a use, As the Meguiar's High Endurance Gel has a nice grape scent.

That picture one has lasted with me for quite awhile

My hand does tend to cramp up after awhile though.

I have a 2" Foam paint brush that works wonderfully with a dressings, I also use Adam's detail squares for wider profile tires and wheel wells.

Hello to all,

I have a little unknown secret that I've kept for the past five or six years with regards to tire applicators. I use Shur-line's 7" paint/stain applicators and replacement pads. The applicators I get at Lowes for around $4.50 and the pads for around $3.00 each. You can find them in the paint/floor stain isle of Lowes (and maybe Home Depot, not sure, never looked).

They work great. Full tire sidewall coverage, no mess with the handle, well built, and inexpensive.

I've used something similar to the brush you have, except with no handle. The bristles break off or me, but dressings go on easily.

I also found the Carrand at Advance for 99 cents each. Nice rigid plastic
handle. and thick enough that I think it will not come unglued like the
Eagle One Tire Swipes. I just wish the Carrand was contoured like the EO
swipe. I bought 3 and use one for each type dressing's that I may use.
Gel,Water based,Solvent Based. Rigid plastic handle makes using it with
out the mess on the hands easy.

Is it a dark grey handle, with a rectangular foam block attatched? if so, that is what I have. The foam block fell out after the greasy High Endurance Gel caused the glue to let go.
