Hey guys

just wondering what to use for 1ZPP by hand? I have a pc and will be doing most of the car with it, but in those tight spots where the pc can't go, what should i use???

Thanks!

I have one of those blue and black molded foam applicators from the autopia store that I like well enough. Maybe something a little smaller might be better for you (and me for some small areas), though. Good question, any other opinions?

I use foam apps when I use abrasives by hand. I find I get better results than I do with MF apps. When I use pre wax cleaners like AIO or GEPC I use MF apps.

I use regular (plush) MF towels. PP isn't really all that picky about what you use it with so I'd just find what you like best and stick with it.

For the most aggressive effect, cotton terry applicators def. work the best. You could follow up with a foam or MF one on a second pass if you like, but a foam applicator does not create anough friction for the full PP effect.

This might sound silly, but I cut up my old polishing pads and use them as hand applicators.

They tend to be better than the round yellow hand applicators because the foam grade is designed for cutting.
