OK. what am I doing wrong?
I polished my car a month ago, to give me a clean slate to see the effects of parking outside. Ive been washing weekly out here in SD. I sheet the water then use Megs Water Magnets, and a few Costco yellow micros to finish off. I seem to have marringgg after just a month.. My question is it the dirt and pollen and wind doing it..( not likely i think.). or is it the towels?
I tend to use buffing strength to dry at the end but that shouldnt scratch using microfiber, according to many. How about the satin edges on the WW would that scratch?
Perhaps its the cleanliness of my towels.. I wash with my regular clothes ( dont really care about lint, as I park outside and dirt and pollen are the bigger problems) and then line dry them. Another thought is that I reuse towels that have been dropped after washing them.. is that ok?
Help I dont want to keep polishing my car. though it is fun..
what a bad week.. got water spots too.. after just 3 days.. in the SD sun.. vinegar? if that doesnt work ill probably have to polish anyways.. bummer..
