There are some people on this forum that have gone out of their way to get Klasse. I highly applaud them for their leap of faith.

The problem is, some of them do not see the same results as many of us do. That is it may not have worked or it looked okay, and so i'm going back to turtle wax, etc

Without knowing the exact conditions that this faultering occurs under, can we give any advice to first time Klasse users (besides the usual) on how to make it really shine? There's a lot of users here, put the best parts of everyone's techniques and help another out.

First, dont rush when you are applying Klasse. Take your time and make sure you covered everything.

Second, prep work. The secret to a stunning car is prep work. Get as many imperfections out of the paint as you can before any sealant is put on.

And this third one is really important, WAIT THE PROPER AMOUNT OF DRYING AND CURING TIME!! Many people try to rush the process and dont wait the proper amount of time. Just let the stuff do its thing, the results will be worth it.

I think that many expect to take a car with oxidation, or swirl marks and other problems and have Klasse be the cure all. This is simply not the case. Klasse is not a magic wand, your paint needs to be in good shape before you apply Klasse. Like I said, it is all in the prep work. Prep work may not be the most fun thing in the world to do, but it will make a hugh impact on the final results you get.

someone once told me. 'patience is a virtue' and if you don't know that now, once you have started detailing you will certainly learn it very quickly. 'All good things come to those who wait', so on and so forth whether it is with Z or Klasse.

ahhh don't remind me adjulian...

"Patience is a Virtue, and you are unvirtuess (sp?)"

that was from the SFC when doing color guard. Thats is the last thing I want to hear.

Well anyway back to the topic, I would also like to learn how to use Klasse properly :D

Gentlemen, applying Klasse is certainly not rocket science. I've seen many great pics from Jason, Beau, Tim, and many others. One thing that should me mentioned, that may be common sense though, is to use AIO before the SG. It really makes a difference. Other tips are to simply use light or thin coats and to apply with foam pads. Allow it to sit for a minimum of 20-30 minutes and buff out. Sure, allowing the product to cure for 24 hours is probably best. Now, there may be some secret 'ingredient" that Tim uses. As I've said before, there are a few here who use a PC, but I still haven't seen better pics with Klasse than those by our good buddy Tim. Perhaps we should address this question to him and his use of his PC. Laters.

Here's an interesting thought...
