Last week I'm driving down the highway. About a quarter of a mile in front of me is an eighteen wheeler hauling cattle. I can only guess now that there is some sort of containment area in the trailer to catch all of what the cattle let go of during their long journey. Well, aparently this contraption let go of ALL it's contents right onto the highway. There were probably eight or so cars between me and the truck. None of us saw what had happened. We all drove blindly through the mess. As well as many cars behind me. I continued on to work. Did I mention it was about ninety degrees? When I got to work and opened the car door, I was greeted with quite an unpleasent odor, to say the least. When I returned to my car several hours later, the whole parking lot smelled like a cattle farm. I took it straight to the coin op car wash. After dropping several bucks into a power washer, I took it home for a proper cleaning. Moral of the story. If you see a cattle truck up in front of you, change lanes.
