What a long day!!

First i picked jason up at 5:30am, got the the boat yard at 6am.

The owner had already washed down the 31 foot boat. This thing was huge, with a double cabin. The owner loved the way it came out and got me two more boat details.

Jason has the pix and will tell you more about it as i am to tired to even type, but i know these are the steps we did on the outisde:

1. compound using 3m imperial with rotary and waffle pad

2. paint restoer, meg's #44 for gel coat's using PC

3. paint sealant, meg's #20 using PC

4. wax, using meg's #26 using a pc

Interior

1. dual action cleaner/polish using pc on all painted fiber glass

2. all purpose cleaner for all stains on vinyl, carpet cleaning, stove tops, counter tops, bathroom & shower.

3. meg's #40 vinyl cleaner as well

4. chrome polish on all rails, bells & horns

WE started at 6am and got done around 4:30. by the time we started to pack up i think it was around 5pm

I feel for you. My boat comes out of storage in about a month and I have some detailing to do on it as well.
 
This boat was a learning experience. There are no panels like a car, but the hull was huge and detailing it was back breaking work.

I didn't know boats could be so reflective! It looks like you did a great job! That must have been rewarding work and quite a workout. :)

What kind of stump Syker? And what do you need done to your floors? Need them sanded and sealed? I also know how to install Pergo laminate flooring if anyone needs that done :D

No problem :cool: but I have refinished a few stair cases, darn can't find the pictures (best work had 7 coats of Minwax Polycrylic, first sanded with 150 grit, and between each coat was 220 girt sand paper, final coat sanded with 600 grit sand paper, includes all the banister too, PIA!)
 
Great job by the dynamic duo! Do you charge by the foot when you do a boat, or just a flat rate? Just curious. Enjoy!
 
Looks good! I thought I had it bad having to detail a black Ford Excursion-in the sun (no shade available) and an Acura CL Type-S.



BTW, I used Souveran on the Acura (it's red) and it looked so good when I finished, some guy from an ajoining office came over and scheduled an appointment for his car! I love when that happens!

I don't know why, but when I saw the reflection side view of that boat, I busted out laughing. Only cause I thought we only did stuff like that with cars and scrolling down I though I would just see some regular boat pics.



That is the shiniest boat I've ever seen :up



congrats on the extra boat biz...Jason did that telescoping pole for your buffer help? ;)
