What a difference!

how do ya like it?
today i finally found the time to detail my dad's car. i decided to use some of the new edge 2000 stuff i had, along with ssr 2.5. i used the yellow cutting pad with ssr 2.5 to attempt to take off all of this spider webbing and hazing from the body shop. first, i worked the ssr 2.5 in at around 3, then i cranked it up to 5. check out the difference! i used a 500 watt work light (thanks ranney) to find all the imperfections. i should have bought the stand too, because its hard to hold the work light and take a picture. i got burned :(. anyways, here it is.

heres a comparision of the two. i forgot to turn the flash on my camera off, so that may have contributed to the fact that the paint looks lighter.

Were those swirled scratches in the last picture there before you went to work on it, or were they induced by your orbital?
 
actually this is the first time ive touched it... however im pretty sure they were made by an orbital

frozen: i was planinnng on going over with ssr 1 to take care of any little imperfections. im just too tired to do anything. i slept at 12, woke up at 4 to watch wimbledon..
