Wettest look possible?

Okay, we all have our personal preferences as far as how we like our paint to look. I prefer a very wet look. What products will give my paint the deepest, wettest look possible? I have NXT, Glanz, EX-P, 4* UPP, Zaino Z5&Z2, AIO, VM, #16, and S100. I have used S100 over VM + EX-P and it looked very wet, and I was wondering if there are any products that will make the paint look even wetter. Feel free to voice your opinions....the next wax I try is most likely going to be Natty's.

PS - durability is not really an issue....as long as it's longer than 2-3 weeks.
 
My favorite is Megs Final Detail after S&W. This is on a base of 2X NXT with a follow-up of the booster spray. Failing that, try Johnson&Johnson's Baby Oil.
 
i am getting ready to do my accord ( dark emerald green) with VM and ex-p this weekend. I will let you know how it works. Scott told me this would be the best combo for the color.
 
VM + 3 coats of EX-P or UPP + s100 is probably as drippy wet as you can go :) depending on the color of course.
 
VM, EX-P (x2), CMW is the wettest combo I've tried. Replacing CMW with S100 adds more depth but gives up some wetness. Substituting with Natty's adds more clarity but also gives up some wetness. If you are working with a very dark color, Souveran may provide some extra depth.

Pretty hard to tell from one picture, but I think I would just go drive the car and figure that what you have done looks awfully good. I'm not too sure how much, if any, you are going to improve on that!

Right now I have VM+EX-Px3. Looks great(wet) right now. Tomorrow I want to put another coat of EX-P then Souveran.

Yep, I already have that thread printed out for the Acronyms. However, it does NOT list the Vanilla Moose (VM).

There are a couple other acronyms I have come across that are not on that list either (but I can't recall what they were).

Anyway, thanks for the clarification!

I just looked under "V" and it isn't listed. Would probably be better to have it listed under both "C" and "V" (but I don't want to sound like I am nitpicking because the Acronym list really is a great resource and obviously took a lot of effort).
 
Alright, i did a search and this came up, it kinda answered my question but i have a little diff. I want the absolute deepest wettest look, durablity be damned. I need it to look good for 12-24 hrs.

From what i read on here the best way to do this would be to use a carnubue wax. Such as S100/P21S or Pinnacle (Soviegn is kinda out of my price range though, but maybe not if it's the right stuff for the job)

Alright, my question is would using an acylic based sealant, such as Klasse AIO and then following up the wax be better than having a layer of a regular sealant, such as UPP between those layers. Is that for durabilty or does it add to look?

I've read the debates on waxing on wax and have decided to do 2 coats for even coverage with in 24 hr intervals and using a detail spray very high in carnubue in order to maintain the finish at the show. I guess the combos ya'll suggested are good, but my only diff is that i don't care how long the deep wet look last.

You will find some carnauba waxes that are more durable than synthetic sealants, but sealants are generally more durable than waxes. For your situation (deepest/wettest look for 12-24 hours), I would suggest using something heavy in oils. I'd skip sealants altogether and go with a glaze and/or organic wax.

Proper prep is actually more important to the final look than the wax or sealant. However, since you have a new paint job that you regard as perfect, you can bypass those cleaning/polishing steps for now.
 
If your paint is in great condition this is a great combo for a super wet look without darkening the color and allowing the metalic to sparkle
Another choice would be 4* UPC topped with 2 or 3 coats of 4* UPP ... wait another 24 hours and go over the car with Adams Detail Spray. I don't know what is in the Detail Spray but it produces a gloss and wetness like none other.
