I'm wondering if anybody can reccomen any websites or particular articles that go in depth about wetsanding and technique and where do you fine wetsanding supplies? Thanks

Thanks Miguel I think I'm still gonna want you to wetsand those spots but I just wanna see the process but I just wanna learn more about!

Here for bulk quantities:

http://www.sisweb.com/micromesh/

Or for play & experimentation, there is also a local source at Woodcraft, Holister & 290. Comes in a box, with 2 sheets (4" x 6" approx) each of 1500, 1800, 2400, 3200, 2600 ,4000, 6000, 8000 & 12000 grit. About $40/box

That technique is is fine for single stage paint.

It will ruin a clearcoat.

Most cars in the last 15 years have a multistage clearcoated system. Wetsanding removes the crucial 'skin' of the clear, taking UV protection with it.

Failure is seldom immediate... might take 6 months to a year...

i'm pretty sure some members here have wetsanded clears without doing much damage. are you saying it's just simply not possible to wetsand clear?
