Do you keep your paper soaked in water all the time ?



I forgot but there was a technical thing about the wetsand paper soaking in water--- or am I having a moment...

I take it you're hand sanding? If so, just let your paper soak in water for 30 minutes and add in a couple drops of soap like Dawn. It will help the paper glide across the surface.

I soak the paper like David mentioned then keep a spray bottle of hand soap and water (my clay lube that I use during preps) and spray that while i'm sanding to keep it moving smoothly.

As mentioned no need to soak 24 hours, just do it a few minutes before you are ready to start.
