But really, there's just no other way to determine "is that corrected area thinned by 12 microns or only 8?" or "is the paint of a uniform thickness or do I have to take it easy on certain areas"?
Usually it's no big deal, just doesn't matter even though all those measurements really are the "right way to do it". But whenever somebody says that aggressive products on a MF cutting disk (which I'm using right now, this weekend, on one of the Crown Vics) isn't aggressive enough so they're wetsanding....well, I worry.
