Wet sanding final grade used

I was just wondering what grade of wet/dry sandpaper most of the detailers here finish out with. I was only going to 3000 grit. I found some 3M wet/dry that now goes to 12000 grit. I now finish out with the 3M paper out to 8000 grit. Makes removing the sanding marks so easy with remove with a rotary or da.
