Here's the story: My T-Bird has been out for a little while with a spun crankshaft bearing so I started out my ripping out the interior (entirely) and cleaning that. Then I moved to the exterior. The paint looks awesome! After claying, DACP (diamond cut in some areas), machine glaze, and multiple coats of #26 over #20 polymer sealant.....It looks Awesome!
Here's my question:
The headlights and side marker lights are pitted from rock chips. Can I take and wet sand them, polish and then maybe a glaze & #20 so as to make the pits less noticeable? The lights are not yellowed really badly, actually it looks as if they are still really clear, just pitted and a little dull.
I've taken the stop/tail lights out and used some DACP and #9 on them and they turned out really well.
