Wet n Shine right after applying Klasse SG?

Today I applied Klasse All in One and Sealant Glaze on my car, on the first half of my car everything went well Sealant Glaze came off pretty easily, but on the other half it was pretty hard to remove I had to buff the hood an extra 20 minutes and when I was done I could still see some Sealant Glaze residue, and I think the reason for this is because the air got humid while I was applying the Sealant Glaze on that half..

So after buffing the hood and fender for an extra 20-30 minutes unsucesfully, I decided to use Eagle One Wet N Shine, I didn't use too much of it I just gave my MF towel a couple of spray, wiped the residue off and voila everything is gone...

Now I'm wondering if I took the Sealant Glaze completely off when I used the Eagle One Wet N Shine or just the residue? Do I need to reapply Sealant Glaze again? And just in case Wet N Shine did remove the Sealant Glaze, next time how long should I wait before I wipe my car down with Sealant Glaze. Pls let me know thank you.

it is best to let SG "cure" 24hrs before wetting, QDing, ecc.

If you have to..., wait until the nest day to remove, using a QD, it will be much easier.

Yah but the problem with that is I don't have a garage, my car sits out all day.. So you think I've removed the SG?

Unless you really scrubbed and leaned on it, probably not. :)

Incase you didn't know, using a QD to aid Klasse SG buffing is a common and accepted practice. Most people tend to wait about 20 min to an hour or two before buffing. In any case, you are going to slap a couple more layers on right?

Yup gonna put 2 more layers, I might even go out tonight and put another one... You think 12 hours is enough to let it cure?

I asked the very same question...and the answer was wait the full 24 hours. I did and I am happy I did...I would not want to start over! I have been applying SG every night now for the last 3 days! Next is S100:bounce

i want to do klasse but i am worried about the humidity part...here it is about 90% from may untill october , i have an aircondtioned garage but i hate worlking with zero sun, and im cheap and hate to use the a/c for 10-12 while i wax my avalanche and accord

I would guess that wet wipe and shine's silicone content would interfere with klasse sg layering..

It has Silicone? Wut about Quick Detailer does Quick Detailer have silicon?

My guess is that quik detailer has carnauba in it, which would also interfere. From what I remember, meguiar's final inspection and sonus high gloss spray are the only two confirmed safe qd's. Clearkote quickshine is supposed to be wax and silicone-free, so my feeling is that it would be a safe one to use too. Or at least I hope so, since that's what I've been using. I've also used a water-dampened mf for klasse removal and that seems to work just as well.

For removing excess or residue right? Not the whole thing...

How about a search? I posted something this morning regarding water and it intefering polymer bonding. You can risk spraying QD's onto freshly applied Klasse or use a damp MF for removal, but I go the safer route. If you don't find any noticeable effects, then go ahead... I'm not stopping you.

Sorry but I couldn't see wut you typed after LOOK HERE I think the font is too small, can you pls make it bigger?

Anyways if you READ my post, I don't care about cure time like the other I was just concerned whether or not Wet N Shine REMOVED all of the SG or just the Residue, and do I need to reapply it or not. I don't care about the cure time nor do I care about water preventing the polymers from completely bonding onto the paint. I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF WET N SHINE REMOVED IT COMPLETELY OR JUST THE RESIDUE!

Any non-carnauba QD seems to be safe. This means CK, EO, Mothers, Megs, etc etc etc etc.....

Carnauba QDs will usually tell you if it has carnauba (EFCP, CM, a few others) since it'd be a selling point.

A better question than "Would the silicones in X QD hurt anything?" is "What kind of wierd, crazy QD wouldn't have 'silicones'?" They all have silicones of some sort and are all broadly similar in makeup.
