Wet Ice Over Fire Combo?

I recently tried the BF Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection Sealant and was very impressed to say the least. The slickness the sealant left behind was off the charts, and it was very easy to apply, and more importantly remove.

My question is if I apply BF Midnight Sun on top of this sealant will it remove some of that slickness? Increase it, or will it remain about the same?

By the way I really liked the BF Sealant. It's amazing stuff, and a definite must have.

I cant speak for the BF wax product but wax over sealant will in most cases will give it some POP and added slickness. You also will gain some added protection after topping with wax...:drool5:

Hi Erik, thanks for the compliments on the Blackfire Wet Diamond.

I have found that if I apply the Midnight Sun too soon after appication of the Sealant there will be an initial drop off in slickness. If you have the luxury of letting the Wet Diamond sit for a while, there is still a slight inital drop in slickness, but it is very slight.

This is common when applying a wax over a sealant and it proof that the wax itself is setting on top of the sealant. Midnight Sun does have active polymers in it which will crosslink into the previous coat of the sealant, so it will become more slick several hours after application. It will never be as slick as Wet Diamond by itself.
