Werkstatt Quick Wash? and Other Rinseless Wash/QD's?

Werkstatt's products all seem to be top notch. I've tried Prime Strong, Acrylic Jett and Carnauba Jett and they have all exceeded expectations. My only complaint is that the quantities seem to be on the small side for a frequent detailer. But I guess that's how it goes with imported products.

I'm experimenting with different CLEANING quick detailers to chase my Optimum No Rinse washes. I may just end up using ONR at QD strength but I'd like to see if there are products that offer some additional bite vs. ONR. So far FK 146 seems to have a few advantages over ONR as a QD but I seem to be going through a gallon of 146 every couple of months so it wouldn't hurt to try other brands and encourage competition.

Does the Quick Wash have something special about it vs. others? Anyone been using this to compare to another quick detailer like Poorboys Rinseless and FK 146, or ONR ?

Do you mean something to immediately follow an ONR wash or something to replace it? (I'm confused because it sounded like something to follow, but then you mentioned something with more bite - I'm confused.

I was thinking of following up ONR with something like DG AW, but after using ONR last nite, I see a very nice shine today so I don't know.

Well I'm a big fan of ONR but before adding something like Aqua Wax (as you suggest) I like to prep the surface with a quick detailer that contains cleansers and maybe some anti-static additives.

I'm not sure I like the practice of going from wash straight to wax. I'm betting that some of the items above contain additional/more potent ingredients simply not found in ONR.

In the past I've chased the ONR wash with the anti-static 146 and its been slick enough (albeit not really gloss enough) to leave as is and drive off. When time does and weather (no gloomy clouds) permit I'll bypass the 146 use ONR at QD stregth, add some Optimum Car Wax Spray or Werksttat Carnauba JET and top with FK 425 (to return the anti-static barrier).

Basically I would use Werkstatt Quick Wash, Poorboys S&W or the other choices with the intent of adding aditional toppers. If its one product only after ONR I'll go with 146.

Ah - you didn't explain that you were looking at a ground up exterior detail - sorry.

My ride is fairly new. I washed/clayed in the summer and have since prepped for winter with Klasse AIO & KSG x3. I'm thinking seriously of topping further with Collinite 476 x2.

I just did a wash with ONR (first time) which I plan to continue through the winter. My thinking with DG AW following ONR washes was in addition to already strong layers of protection.

Granted that my position comes from a lot less paint than others...but...We use W Quick Wash consistantly and it has suited our needs well. We give a 2oz bottle to customers to help maintain after a ride ( and yes hoping they will buy more). I look forward to the day gallons will be available.
