I washed, clayed and started with the werkstat system. everything is done by hand, prime, and then 3 layers of AJT.....the car looks clean but...not really glossy

I am just not too impressed, I think I was more with Jetseal, am I doing something wrong? was I expecting too much from this product?

side note: it rained over night and yes it was beading.

I spent alot of money on getting an extra bottle of AJT, A. Glos. was this a mistake?

Werkstat has a finish that glows and has depth more than super reflective. Different products have different looks. Could also be whatever lighting is available right now.

I felt the same way when I used it. Just not for me I guess. :werd:

Back when I used Werkstat about 3 yrs ago, I found that AJ or AJT needed a carnuba topper. When I use Zaino or Blackfire Wetdiamond sealents, im my eyes neither needs a carnuba topper.

Scott may have a point regarding the lighting.

after i did the car on saturday i left it there and i haven't driven it until this morning. I found the hood of my car while driving a little more reflective, and when I parked it in a different area i found it not bad. so we shall see. protection is very important, the look as well.

all day I was thinking... i spent a good amount of money and probably will have to wait at least a year before I would get to purchase anything again. I was even thinking i should have just got some PB EX-P and use the natty's red that i had already or Blackfire Wetdiamond sealant.

once I got home and started to look closely, it is not bad!

Sometimes products look better after a day or two. Meguiars #26 is notorious for that. Looks decent when you first apply it but wait a week and wash the car and :wow:

I just applied another layer of AJT to my Arctic Silver Lotus.

Forget about it.

I am far too pleased with how AJT looks on my silver Lotus to even consider trying anything else. The gloss, glow, and pop are simply superb.

I much prefer AJT on silver than I did OS. I love OS on other colors, but it seemed to slightly darken/mute the silver. AJT just pops.

This is one time where I feel so confident in the looks that I feel absolutely no need whatsoever to try anything else!

I should note that I do have a couple of coats of DWG underneath.

This combo is simply fantastic on silver paint.

I agree with all the above. I've used AJT exclusively on my Silver Metallic Cobra for the past year and a half, and in that time I had no desire to try anything else on it (despite having OS on the shelf).

I removed the AJT this weekend, and decided to try OS to see how it looked on Silver for my own eyes, and it definitely darkened the paint a bit when compared to AJT. It still looks very nice, wet and reflective, but nowhere near as good as AJT does IMHO. AJT has it beat in all categories, especially wetness (even for a sealant), glow, and clarity. The well prepped paint jus shines.

I've used OS on other color cars, and I do love it. IMO it honestly is a GREAT sealant, and my favorite next to AJT. But on silver, AJT is King in my eyes.

You can't expect a miracle from any sealant or wax. I prefer the Werkstat stuff over most others because its easy to use and it keeps its looks longer than most. If there was a product that really changed a car's finish, it would probably cost more than a quarter per application.
