I was leaving work heading home and I was waiting to make a left onto my neighborhood when all of a sudden I was rearended. I got spun around and slammed into the curb on the opposite side of the road. Luckily I didnt get whacked by an oncoming traffic. Good news is that everyone seems to be ok, although the other driver got taken off in a strecher, I think she'll be fine. Im a lil sore and I got cuts on my arm from climing out through the window since my doors wont open. The bed is pushed up against the cab, back window blown out and the leaf springs are bent. My friggin truck is folded in half, that thing is done for :cry: This is the only pic that came out from my cell phone.

Hope you have insurance details .. had f#$#$s here do a hit and run on one of our pickups as well, when police cought up with the 16 year old snotbag she had no insurance..
 
Glad to hear your ok good thing you were in a truck and not a compact so your truck took most of the punishment and not you. Bigger cars and trucks might cost more overall but situations like this they are worth every penny. Unfortunately there is not a vehicle big enough to stop wreck less drivers.
 
buy it back, scrap the motor and all things under the hood for some cash, swap the wheels and sell those, and sell the seats, dash components, etc...profit from this sad event!

Yeah, I am gonna be parting it out. I have a buddy that wants the engine. Her Ins wants to move it to a junkyard 30 miles away so they dont hafto pay storage fees on it whiles its here, Im gonna try and get it moved back to my house. I dont want it that far away. Im gonna miss the truck :/

remember its still YOUR truck till you sign the paperwork, dont let them bully you around.
