Hail the power of Quattro
Tonight, on my way to the movies, I got in a little accident. Nothing too serious I guess. There waren't any dents on either vehicle, but some paint was rubbed off of my front bumper. I'm not sure if there was any paint rubbed off of her bumper or if it was just my paint on there. I immediately took responsibility since I hit her. We both looked at both vehicles and told her to call the police if she felt the need. I also told her that I detail vehicles and offered her a full detail at no cost to help take care of the issue at hand. Her vehicle was already pretty dirty with bird droppings scattered all over. She seemed content that neither her or her children were hurt and that there wasn't any major damage. She decided that we should just exchange numbers and not worry about calling the police even after I asked her if she was sure she didn't want to call them. She said that if worse comes to worse that she'd take me up on my offer to detail her car. The good thing is that since there wasn't a police report, she can't really file any legal actions against me. At least by hitting a VW, I kept it in the family..
Here is a picture of the damage to my car. The paint chip is just a little bigger than a dime. Yes, I know my car is a bit dirty, but it has been raining lately and I haven't had a good weekend that wasn't already filled up with other details to take care of mine. I gave it a quick wash today, but the rain quickly took care of any good I tried to do.
