Well, I got bored and decided to WetSand!

Yup, I wet sand when I get bored. :D My CF lip is a bit pitted dull. I also filled in some small pits. I started to with 1000 grit, then on to 1500 and finished with 2000. Finally I polished it out with Blackfire Scratch Resistant Clear Finishing Polish:

Much better! What machine did you use to remove the sanding marks?



Honestly, I am seriously considering wetsanding the bad areas of orange peel on my car now that I have a rotary.

Hey...don't thin the coating out too much on that CF or you'll wreck your UV protection and need to repaint it with that $60,000 a gallon stuff...

I tried that and got so frustrated I got me a rotary! Should have got wool right away too.

Scott i wouldnt wet sand factory paint but thats just me.
