i remember reading this awhile ago but i cant seem to find the thread. i was wondering, how do u remove armol all off a dash? i remember it was something as simple as rubbing alcohol? any input is appreciated:up

.... and it works. Although the stain I mentioned in that post is proabably years old, it is coming off (it is on the clear plastic console cover). The lighter fluid is what I got, and it takes forever, since pretty much the whole thing has dots or streaks on it.

I think the best way is to soak the towel in the lighter fluid by squirting the fluid on it, and then hold it up to the stain (with a towel underneath since I am working on a vertical surface). I tried putting a bunch of the fluid in a film canister, and flipping it to the side and soaking that way, but that did not seem to work very well... besides, that is messy.

And as the other thread mentions, it is probably a tire dressing that some butcher used on the dash.

Best of luck,

Josiah

BACK TO WORK!!!! Haha.... Congratulations! Hope you enjoyed your honeymoon. This is just the beginning for you and your new wife; best wishes for a long, happy and prosperous life together!

Thanks Guys!

The wedding went very well and we had a blast on our honeymoon....we really didn't want to come home! Now it's back to reality and after two weeks off my work load is super backed up. :(

Thanks again! :)

Congrats Chad!!

I'm getting married this coming Saturday (July 17th)...

I'm trying to get everything done and keep everyone happy before I go away. It's going to be an extremely busy August for sure!

Thanks Rick! Congrats to you too! :)

The wedding day definitely fly's by and it's actually all a blur to me now!

A friend gave me some good advice that I'd like to pass on to you. When you and the wife stand up and thank everyone for coming be sure to thank your wife as well....guess it means a lot to them. ;) Plus I know my wife went through hell planning the wedding while working full time and going to law school part time so I made sure to thank her for that too.

It so nice once it's all over and you can relax again! :)

Plans for honeymoon?

Cheers,
Rasky
