From your initial thread, did you mean "Moose Wax" and not "Mouse Wax"??!!

I'm not suprised Poorboy's EX did so well. I have had it on a red Excursion since early December and it was still beading a week ago (I am obviously the only one who washes it, which is about 3 times a month).

I guess that was wishful thinking on my part but I can get the excellent DACP locally as well.

BTW>> next test sequence started this weekend: AIO+ IW :up :up WOW, great results...we'll have to see if it lasts.

as far as beading goes - I think the elements will leave behind residue on the finish - no matter what is on the car - which may affect beading (which I understand is not a true test of durability - are the beads big or small -- yadda yadda).

Even when I wash my car - due to my hard water my finish does not feel slick (except for Platinum Auto Wash - that one leaves it slick seems to handle hard water better).

I use a product like Poorboy's Spray and Wipe which leaves nothing behind post wash - if the finish is not noticably smooth and slick then I know I have lost some or most of my product.

but it's a very interesting experiment!

This heavy duty liquid wax was originally developed for use by electric power companies for protection against high voltage power failure, fires and explosions. It's primary use is on the finishes of automobiles, trucks, buses and airplanes where durability, high gloss and lasting protection are paramount. An excellent choice for fleet applications and very easy to use--requires minimum rubbing or buffing. Clear coat safe.

Collinite's most popular product.
