weekend business needs name!

Ok, I need to come up with some kind of business name and some cards to hand out. I have done a few cars in the past two or three months for various work friends and have been told that I need some kind of business card so they can hand them out to others who ask about their cars.

Anyways, here are some ideas I have come up with. Let me know what you think and any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

Reflections Detailing Services

Extreme Clean Detailing

Prestige Auto Care

Elite Automotive Spa

Here are some bylines(?) to go along with the names:

âہ“We go to extremes to get you car cleanâ€Â

âہ“Where our passion is clean carsâ€Â

âہ“Because your car deserves to be pamperedâ€Â

Also, any business card layout ideas? Since this is a weekend hobby I don't want to spend to much money on cards. I guess I just need something so potential customers can contact me.

Thanks for your help,

On The Side Detailing

Once A Week Detailing

Weekend Detailing..."Don't let the week end without using Weekend Detailing" or "When your week ends, our's begins... Weekend Detailing" I want royalities on these ideas... :)

Paintvention

"Our inventions are the best preventions"

Lol, ok maybe not.

Out of your examples I like reflections, and have a good paint reflection on your card, that's what I have it is very catchy (different name of course). And I don't personally like any of your bylines, get more creative. Don't take this negatively but think about playing off peoples fears. A dealership doesn't sell 600 dollar paint sealants w/o making customers afraid of not having it. This can be done with tact, but you need to incorporate a reason why your customer needs your service.

Think about playing off the idea that you (the customer) needs your car, and your car needs me (the detailer). I've used this premise with a very catchy byline, with that premise's idea in the byline, and my customers have been raving about my cards, even asking me for handfuls to pass out. I print them on my computer and as even more of an incentive for my customers to pass out my cards, I'm thinking about including reflections for each of my regulars cars. Then giving that particular customer 10 or 20 business cards with reflection of their own car. Little things like this make a huge difference in my experience.

My favorite client is a refferal, then you don't have to sell them your service, they usually know exactly what to expect cost wise and quality wise because their friend has already told them.

I have some other real good stuff I'd love to share, but i'm in the middle of including them in my new business plan, and I like to be unique. Good luck.

How about:

1. Just the Details

2. Weekends Back Detailing... "We detail so you don't have to!"

3. Detailing for Dollars

4. It's a Wash

Whatever you do, make it fun!

I appreciate everyone's suggestions. I think I am just going to go with Gary's Detailing as I think I just want to keep it as simple as possible right now.

Of course, now I have to actually have to come up with a design and get them printed. I am thinking of trying to get a picture of my truck and/or mustang on the card but I am not sure how that will look as they are both black and it may make the print hard to read.

Yes keep it simple if for the only reason is for accepting checks. Some people will write out a check before hand, and if it looks like you have a business name, they will write it out to that business while they are at home or whatnot, while they are waiting for their vehicle. Not always, but it would avoid any confusion.

Unless you will have a dedicated DBA business account, and pay the taxes...
