I just got my car back from the paint shop. :car I had it painted white with several layers of clear coat to give it that deep wet look. The paint shop used PPG paint. They told me it was ready to wax and detail right away. I double checked and since PPG paint is water based it is fully cured in a week so I guess it's ok to start the detailing process. Here is my dilemma.
I had a car cover installed while the car was away and immediately pulled it under the cover when I got it home. It rained last night and the wind blew some of the rain onto the very back of my car and now their are small orange/brown spots :eek throughout the paint on the back of my car. I bought some Klasse AIO, Four Star UPP, and Natty's Past Wax a while back to use on the new paint job. I haven't used this process yet so it's still new to me. I applied some AIO on a small section and after some rubbing it removed the stain. Should I go and clay bar the car to try and pull the contaminents out or will the AIO alone be ok?? I won't be able to detail the car until next week so I hope my brand new paint is ok.
:boohoo :kneel
