Website Building

For you wagon people this might be interesting:
4.2-litre 'biturbo' V8 engine (430 brake hp)

I've already done so many exotics-luckily, I have some very wealthy customers-did a Bentley Continental SC today (the one with the glass roof).

Until I had detailed one, I would say a Lamborghini Diablo, but you have to be a contortionist to get at some part of the interior (inside door glass for instance-nothing like scissor style door to make a task more difficult), and even the exterior isn't as easy as you would think (access-wise).

Actually, if it would be something I would get to drive once I finished, probably a BMW Z8 or a Miata stuffed with 302 cubic inches of Ford's best. If I detail something small, I have more time to drive it around! :D

hey prinz,

i still have that old r&t down in my folks' basement. the next time i'm over that way i'll dig through my old r&t collection and see if i can find it.

i know by todays standards the car is not that amazing but it has always been one of my favorites.:D

If I could stop myself from drooling, probably and NSX-T or a Porshe 911 GT2.

Otherwise if I were detailing an Red Integra Type R, i'd be having a pretty good day!

Not sure if this is the right place for this but im looking to redo my website i feel its a little cluttered, any suggestions on layout, size, grammar, pricing?

Also what would be the best program for building a new site i like to do it myself and feel pretty confident that i can learn programs quickly. I dont want to spend a lot of money but would like my site to have a clean crisp proffesional look.

Here is my current site:

http://www.eastsideautospa.com/

Thanks in advance

I'm currently redoing my site. Here is my site as it sits...

Here is the version I am working on... (my wife hates the new one).

I use Yahoo Site Builder, very easy and free. If you are good at photoshop you can design the page there and then import the pics and PNG files. This is what I am doing, so that it will be a completely custom design.

Nicely done Todd.

I do have a friend who does websites for businesses if you want his contact info (you said you wanted to do this yourself).

Is this thread about Todd's website or Pauls.....

Eastside~I think you have a great looking site as it is. The only things I see I would change is drop 1 of those mid-range details and raise your prices :spy:

Also, on that Ultimate Package.....Why put it in the customers mind that this should be a "Once in a Lifetime Thing" :cornut:

Oh yea, Todd, your site looks very nice also :Boxing:

I like the overall layout... being a photographer, the grayscale is friendly...

your logo with red is beautiful... I hope your opening/welcome splash page is this image...

the page looks busy... many bright places where the yes bounce, back and forth...visually confusing...
yes, show many images... just not all at once...

your page is very "vertical" in a web-world that is more horizontal friendly...

Eastside:

You asked for some input!

You have a lot of photos, but they're almost all very small and don't explode into a bigger pic when you click on them. I like to see shiny cars and can't see much shine in small pix.

The 'before and after' pics are taken under such different lighting conditions (sunlight vs indoors) I wasn't sure it was the same car. I would also like to see more 'before and after' as the dramatic improvement is what you're selling.

Most pix are just taken in the parking lot. Perhaps you could do fewer pix but 'showcase' style with some nice backgrounds (parks etc.) and reflections (clouds).
