Weatherstripping product question...

Hello,

As far as protective qualities (for longevity reasons) which products are suggested please.

I have used 303 in the past which I think has good UV qualities, and I have seen a product advertised as "Gummi Pflege - stift" advertised (Has high claims in its advertisement including UV qualities, appearence enhancement). Suggestions please?

Thanks,

Nic

I used AA Fierce tire shine on all my weatherstrip and it looks better than new on a 20yr old car.

It has been over a month since application and still shines, not like when freshly applied, but moreso than a matte finish.

Also, I will note that before this I had applied grease to all the weatherstrip because for some reason I thought i was doing good.....Then I found out I was wrong and the AA i used not only cleaned the grease fairly easily it shined and protected as well.

I've only used the sample bottle of 303 but it didn't impress. I see it as overpriced armor all w/o the smell, but that is Just my opinion from the brief time I did try it.

I can't quit raving about this stuff.. I used to view AA as some alright stuff, then black magic and all the others came along and must of gotten AA out of their chairs, because most of the products I got in my gift pack have exceeded my expectations.

It's 1Z (EINSZETT) Gummi-Pflege.Very good rubber protective, lasts for months. It has a little sponge on top of the bottle so you always get the right amount of product on your weatherstrippings or rubberseals. All rubber parts will get a dark "natural" shine and are well protected.I always use it two times a year, in sring and fall.Protects your rubber seals from freezing too.

Highly recommended!

Thanks for the suggestions folks....I would like to try the Gummi Phflege...I think there is a forum Einszett dealer.

I'd had the Gummi-Pfledge for a month or so, and finally got around to using it yesterday. I really liked it, and its little applicator, too. Very clean, easy and fast to apply, and left all the rubber nicely darkened and dry.

I will say, though, that the window channel weatherstripping seems to need something "slicker." The window still sounds like it is dragging.

Thread or suggestions still coming - GREAT :) !

BlueLibby04....I think APC probably stands for All Purpose Cleaner, however I am not a regular here, and unable to desypher all of the abrievations :(. I am unsure about the second product....can you help please?

Thank you

:)
