Waxing Frenzy vs Zaino Z-5 + ZFX

Well, I finally got a "round toit". Began yesterday afternoon and detailed the interior of my '91 Reatta Convertible using Z-9 and Z-10. Then Dawn washed, vinegar rinsed, and then clayed the exterior. Finished up with a regular Zaino car-wash.

Today, because of light scratches and swirl marks, Z-5 +ZFX'd the driver's half of the car.(Usually would have topped with Z-2 + ZFX) Used Z-16 on the driver's exterior side trim, rubber, tires, and plastic. Z-5 + ZFX went on easily and wiped off with no resistance within 30 min.

Next, used Waxing Frenzy on passenger's side (from the middle crease of the hood over), and used Frenzy Vinyl Protectant on the passenger side trim, rubber, and plastic.

The Waxing Frenzy went on slightly thicker than Zaino, but like the Zaino, it wiped right off easily within 30 min.

Per Anthony Drosco's post on 5 April comparing FMJ, Wolfgang, and Waxing Frenzy:

Both products went on about equally well and came off well without streaking. Both sheeted water and dried well per his methodology.

The car feels smooth thoughout, but the Zaino side feels slicker than the Waxing Frenzy. I cannot see any appreciable difference between the sides. I did NOT top the Z-5 with Z-2 or Z-6, or apply 2 or 3 coats of Z-5 topped with Z-2, using Z-6 between applications as I usually do. In looking at the pics, the driver's side from front to rear was Zaino'ed, the passenger side was Waxing Frenzy'd. I dressed then wheelwells with Mop 'n' Glo.

Will wash regularly and update over the next couple of month looking for durability of Polish/Wax as well as Z-16/Frenzy Vinyl Protectant.
