hey, had a quick question about waxing my car with hand (with soft foam applicator pad),

Do i put the wax on with circular motions or just in back and fourth? and do i need to apply pressure while applying?

thanks

.. either way you preferred, i do it both ways.............

Yep...assuming you're using a nonabrasive product and there's no contamination getting on your application pad, it simply doesn't matter. I believe that circular/elliptical/etc. motions are generally more likely to ensure even, uniform coverage (similar to what a PC/Cyclo/etc. would do) so I generally don't go in straight lines myself.

Applying pressure (within reason) can ensure a uniform application, especially with "hard" waxes such as 476S. But don't overdo it if you have a glaze-type product underneath; some people have compromised their penultimate product by bearing down too hard when they applied the LSP.
