Hey guys I just finished putting Klasse AIO and then I topped it with Klasse glaze. I read that I should put some carnuba wx on top of that . Any suggestions which one I should use??? I have a red car.

I wouldn't top it until you get a few layers of KSG built up. Actually, I quit topping it because I like to reapply KSG as needed (which you can't do once you've applied wax).

KSG is a good LSP. It's much more durable than most carnauba waxes. Add another layer (to assure complete coverage), let it cure, and see how you like it.
 
What is a good way to prevent streaking with #26? I applied it directly over #9, and when buffing off with my MF towels, I could see the streaks from the MF's all over, it looked horrible!!!



I went over it after with some QD and it seemed to get rid of it... Is there a trick that I don't know about?
 
Hi, I actually have been doing AIO for years as the base for all my cars. I used to put KSG on top of it - but IMO the colors (I have a black and deep red cars) went to the next level in terms of dept/wetness when I topped it with wax.

Currently I do not even apply SG (I have hads great durability with 2xAIO) and a wax topper or a sealant w/ carnauba content (like PB EX) and then a wax topper.









The waxes I really like are souveran and victoria red wax.



nb. I plan on trying natty blue and a zymol estate wax (as others have had great success w/ them on dark colors on this and other forums).
 
i agree with accumulator, once i strip everything off my car its getting some serious sg layers, most people are always in such a hurry to top it off to see the final product and it does get you anxious but imagine if you applay a layer of sg a day for a few weeks then slap whatever the heck you want on top chances are, your model car has never looked better or been in that state of protection before.
 
Im new to the game so im not sure what can top what and also Im a bit slow on abbr for the waxes. Could I apply nxt on the glaze or is that a bad idea.

In general, this is the order you want to follow:



wash

clay

wash

polish

sealant (multiple layers if desired)

carnauba (multiple layers if desired)



If you were to use the basic 3-step paint care system from Megs (found at your local parts stores), you would simply use:



paint cleaner

polish

canauba



But I would personally suggest you add clay bar as a 4th step in that process (very beginning), especially, if you have never done so. It will remove any airborne contaminants that have accumulated on your paint.



The most important rule to remember, IT's ALL ABOUT PREP-WORK! The more you put in before your LSP (last step product - ex: canauba), the better your paint will turn out when you are finished.
 
I did a Duragloss, FK routine yesterday (washed, clayed, DG 652 paint cleaner, 601 bonding agent, 105 polish, then a layer of FK Pink Wax, then AW) and my car looks amazing. And it's SILVER!! :eek:
