Hi Folks,
I’ve been reading the forum for a few months now (recently joined) and have learned a great deal, which I will put to good use in caring for my car - a 2006 Honda Civic, silver.
I recently ordered the Klasse twins and my planned process is to: wash, clay, AIO, SG (2 may be 3 coats), and lastly topped with a carnauba wax.
I’ve read that some folks keep layering the SG as maintenance between full details to enhance its durability, but I’m assuming that you can do that only if you don’t have a wax topper. Would that be correct?
Since the wax topper is mainly to enhance the shine/look and offers less protection than the SG, and if my goal is to maximize protection, would it be better to forego the wax so that I can keep adding SG instead?
Thanks in advance for your input.
