I have put together a large collection of carnauba pastes. I was thinking about storing them in a small dedicated refrigerator in the garage. Is this a good idea? What would be the optimum temp for long term storage?
Or would I be better off storing them in the house?
clear out a spot inside the house. I store mine under an unused cabinet in the work shop. I dont think its a good idea to refigerate them. Some companies (Liquid Glass comes to mind) that states that you need to keep from freezing) It could be that prolonged low temps may have an adverse reaction to the product even if not below freezing.
While I keep my long-term stash of #16 in the basement with our wines, the stuff I've just kept in the garage has held up fine. I wouldn't refrigerate them either, "room temperature" is fine.
I store my sizable arsenal in 50 gallon rubbermaid totes kept in my master closet in my bedroom. Consistant room temp. is best for storing your detailing products.
