Wax still good ?

Hey everyone, I recently left my Carnuba based wax out in my storage container all winter. Will this have ruined the wax in anyway ? ? (Giant plastic sealed bin)

Most likely it's toast, but shake it up real well and give it a shot.

Its probably fine, but wax is cheap so buy some new stuff if your worried.

Bingo. Carnuba based waxes come in a liquid form ?

Sure, there are plenty of liquid carnaubas. Meg's #26 liquid, Liquid Souveran...I'm sure there are tons of others I am forgetting...they just mix more solvents in (oversimplified explanation).

Umm...forever? I have cans of wax that are 20 years old that are fine. They have been stored in a cool place. High temperatures are the thing that would drive off solvents and dry out the wax, IMO, freezing will have no effect.



Like I said, what is with you guys? You've all been brainwashed by the expiration dates that are on everything these days, and the BS that goes along with it. Putting expiration dates on things sells more product. Do you really think that HP printer cartridges go bad sealed in those foil packets with the strip over the heads?



Anyway, if you guys have any detailing products that you think have "expired", send them to me and I'll use them.

I have never had carnauba wax in a solid state before so this is new to me, thats why i asked .
