Wax Season '07 with Camaro SS & Zymol Vintaaagghe (Long Version)

Hey thanks for the notice!!! Yup she's an automatic. It has its plus and minuses, but for the most part I'm happy with it.

Wow, looks amazing... but chickening out on the HD-Cleanse??? Heresy!!

Honestly, I'm looking for an alternative to HD-Cleanse, as well. The HD-Cleanse process almost convinced me to send back their 1800 dollar ice cube.

Glad to see such impressive results with an alternative!

buck buck!!

Its all in the cleaning (the prep). HD Cleanse is ideal if you are doing your prep by hand (its still a pain, but I think you have to handle it in small sections; I put mine on via pc last year........interesting experience!).

But stick with it........it gets better but with good moderation! buck buck (bad chicken imitation)!!

I just changed the lsp on the Sequoia to Vintage. I still applied the HD-Cleanse by hand, then tried to get it off with a PC with a microfiber bonnet on it. I was only doing one small section at a time, and waiting no longer than 30 seconds after application to remove it. The PC struggled to remove it, even on max speed. I gave up after half the car and just removed it by hand. I'm convinced that HD-Cleanse has glue in it. Whoever formulated that stuff has a sick sense of humor. The only thing I've found that helps in the removal process is to not apply it as thick, which goes against the "apply liberally" recommendation.

I got the hang of HD Cleanse now. I dont really bother waiting 30 seconds. Work in small section, wipe on until almost dry and thinned out then buff off. Works fine for me now, before I wanted to throw the bottle against the wall! :) lol

I'll keep notes on the HD Cleanse. If I'm lucky this year, I may be able to do a (almost) non-abrasive prep next year!

Thanks again for the comments!
