Wax(sealer) to hide scratches etc?

Since I'm still struggling to get rid of some micromarring/hazing, I'm looking for a wax/sealant that gives a warm/wet look to black paint and that also helps hides the hazing.
I'm currently using DG #104 and do like it alot, but it doesn't seem to hide imperfections as well as I'd like.
 
Second on the tech wax. It's inexpensive and has decent hiding capabilities while producing a pretty good shine and good protection.
 
Eagle One Nano and Turtle Platinum will also hide scratches. Useing there spray waxes every week or so will go a long way to hide scratches.
 
Not to go off topic but I find a glaze before waxing to cover up light swirls....works for me on my jet black BMW
 
You are going to find it hard to get any wax or glaze to cover up 'haze' very well. Swirls, maybe, but haze needs to be removed. My suggestion is to evaluate the polishes you are using and see if maybe you need to step down the abrasive level of your product or pad a little bit. The haze could be caused by your pad being too coarse for the product you are using.
 
I agree with the above- Hazing won't go away with a quick wax, NXT and Nanowax (liquid and spray) will fill fine cobwebbing. (And darken the paint somewhat.)
I've also noticed that the 3 listed also tend to leave a bit of oily streaking behind.
 
I'm going to give polishing another try on Monday. Last week I used PWs/orange pad(2 passes) and PWs/white pad(2 passes) and there's still some hazing. It's not major, but to me it's noticeable.
I think I'm gonna try PB SSr1 and white pad 1st...if that doesn't work I'll try an orange pad.
I'm not sure if I just suck at this or black is just too hard to get right. To the general public...my car looks great, but they all think that swirls, etc are normal.
I guess I'll just pick a 2 X 2 panel and just keep trying combinations til I get the damn thing right.

You don't say what the pads you are using are intended for, but when I checked the pad guide, it appears that the orange pad is a light cutting pad and the white pad is a polishing pad. Is that correct?
Polishing pads have always done a good job for me and I don't even own a cutting pad. I was always concerned with the marring left by the cutting pad.
If the polishing pad and the SSR1 don't clear up the hazing, step up to SSR2 rather than the cutting pad.
My personal opinion is that the cutting pad is what is leaving the hazing. The SSR1 and the polishing pad will probably clean it up, but it will take some time.

One caution.
I think you have been at this for quite some time now and every time you use an abrasive pad and an abrasive product, you are removing some pf your paint. You need to find the right combination before you run out of paint. :)

You can use AW over NXT no problem...I have not found a product it will not work with...

On the hazing problem...try PB's 1 with a white pad on 4 or 5 ...work the area slow about 1 inch a second..going both vertical and horizontal directions..should take the hazing out...

Or you can try the Duragloss PC-No.2 (Buffing & Polishing Cleaner) or the Duragloss SMR (Swirl Mark Remover) they both have micro abrasive...

But PB's 1 should do the trick..or maybe the Pro polish also...

I haven't used the orange pads much...and considering that I still have a few very fine swirls/scratches here and there...I doubt(hope) that I've removed much of the clearcoat.
Probably good advice to stay away from the orange pad, though.
Am I safe to assume that I can rinse the pads and spin them dry and continue to polish?(I've only got 2 white pads to work with). I have 2 gray pads also.
I'll try the SSR1 then step up to SSR2 if it doesn't get rid of the hazing.
If I end up needing to use the SSR2 do I need to go over it using SSr1/white LC pad afterward?
If SSr1 works what do I finish with?....Pws/gray LC pad? or SSr1/gray pad? or something else?
I am going to be exhausted after all of this and still will have to wax(going with NXT this time).
Can I use my PC to apply the NXT(liquid)? I'm not sure if I'll have the arm strength to wax after all of the polishing.
 
I ended up using PwS with a blue pad (Extra fine finishing?) after I got some marring with an orange pad (black car) and it came out pretty well.
You may be able to go straight from SSR2 to your LSP but that depends on what your expectations are.
If you are going to wax anyway, you could "finish" with either PwS or SSR1.
